My Story
I spent the first 19 years of my life trying to find my identity and my self-worth in the things of the world. Whether it was relationships, sports, grades, or performance, I was looking for something to give me security and stability. When I got to college, the allure of these things finally ran out and I was left feeling empty and hopeless.
It took the faithful witness of a friend and an encounter with the Good Shepherd Himself through His Word to convict me of my need to be rescued - and the only person that could rescue me is Jesus (John 10:11)! Since 2017, the Lord has been teaching me how to submit my life to Him and how to abide with Him daily. I am not yet what I will be, but by His grace, I am growing toward it!
I have been married to my wife Casey for over 3 years and we are expecting our first son in 2024! We have one dog named Conway who is sweet, most of the time.

I love how much our members genuinely love one another. Whether it is providing for reach other financially, emotionally, or physically, you can always count on someone showing up for you!

My favorite way to spend time with God is in the quiet of the early morning, with a cup of coffee while sitting on my living room couch.
I always start by praying scripture back to God. It might be a Psalm or a Proverb, but I try to prepare my mind and heart to receive what God wants to show me. Then, with whatever passage I am reading that day, I will use these three steps: observation, interpretation, and application. After I've done that, I ask the Lord to help me apply his Word to my life and then spend time praying for my family, for my neighbors, and then for the world.
