The Faith of Abraham

Series: Genesis

Jeff Hewitt| September 25, 2022

Jeff Hewitt continues the Genesis series about the faith of Abraham. Isaiah calls Abraham the rock from which the Jewish nation was made. Paul calls Abraham the father of all who believe. But Abraham starts off as a novice in matters of faith, but God still uses him. That’s why Abraham’s faith is so encouraging – it ultimately doesn’t depend on how faithful Abraham is, but on God who is always faithful. As God reveals his character and is faithful to Abraham over time and Abraham’s trust and obedience develops and deepens. The same should be true of us.
