Rich and Restless

Series: James

Connor Baxter | June 23, 2024

In James 5:1-12, the rich are warned against hoarding wealth, which corrodes both their possessions and their faith. Their misuse of wealth testifies against them, leading to their misery. Believers are encouraged to be patient in hardship, likening their perseverance to farmers waiting for their crops to grow. They are urged not to give up but to remain steadfast, trusting that God will ultimately intervene and bring justice.

Scripture: James 5: 1- 12
